COLLAGE ARTWORKS
I have been using collage techniques for years, both analogue and digital. During Covid lockdown I saw a video online by artist Deborah Kelly. I was so inspired I created a collage portrait and posted online. It was seen by my longtime friend Steve Kilbey, Lead Singer of The Church: musician, artist, and writer. He asked me if he could use it as a cover for his solo CD. After this he commissioned me to design his next album cover followed by two more for The Church and his accompanying book cover " Eros Zita and the perfumed guitars." I now love working on collage..these works were done by hand cutting out. I incorporate found images with my own photographs.

Japanese digital collage 2013
While studying Digital Photoshop at RMIT in 2013 I produced a series of images. I wanted to illustrate the bizarre clash of cultures in Japan and the Japanese street fashion which borrows from many sources creating a wild juxtaposition of ideas. I combined images of traditional woodblock prints with modern fast consumer goods. This was inspired by my own experience in living in Japan.
